Certification

Which level of translation do you need?

LevelWhat you getUsually needed for
PlainTranslated text laid out like the original.Reading, internal checks.
CertifiedTranslator’s signed declaration of accuracy, our seal and contact details. Most universities, employers and visa offices.
NotarisedCertified translation with the declaration attested by a notary.Offices wanting legal confirmation of the translator’s statement.
With apostille / attestationTranslation taken through Notary, SDM and MEA – and the embassy where needed.Foreign authorities that want the translation itself legalised.
Sworn abroadDone by a translator sworn in the destination country.Only where that country insists – we tell you before you pay.

Ask the destination first. A two-line email to your university, employer or sponsor tells you whether a certified translation from India is accepted or a translator sworn in their country is required – and saves paying twice.

Our standards

What makes a translation acceptable abroad

We always ✓

  • Spell names exactly as in your passport
  • Note every seal, stamp and signature in brackets
  • Keep the layout close to the original
  • Write dates so they cannot be misread
  • Proofread against the original before certifying

We never ✕

  • Leave out stamps, notes or handwritten entries
  • Correct or “improve” what the original says
  • Translate a document that has been altered
  • Promise acceptance by an office that wants its own sworn translator
Price

Translation services cost

YOUR QUOTEFreewritten quote before work starts

The cost of translation services depends on the language pair, the number of pages and the certification level. Certificates are quoted per document; contracts and manuals per word.

Notary, apostille and embassy charges are shown separately in the same quote.

Most translation services we deliver go abroad together with an MEA apostille or embassy attestation, so one file and one courier cover both. See translated certificate apostille, our apostille services and the Hague Conference status table of apostille countries.

FAQs

Translation services – questions people ask

Which languages do your translation services cover?

English to and from Hindi and all major Indian languages, and Arabic, Spanish, French, German, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Portuguese, Italian and more. For any other pair, write to us – we confirm before you pay.

What is a certified translation?

A translation with the translator's signed declaration that it is complete and accurate, plus our seal and contact details. Most universities, employers and visa offices accept it.

Can a translation be apostilled?

Yes. The translation with its notarised declaration can go through Notary, SDM and MEA, and through the embassy where the destination needs attestation.

Do I need to send the original for translation?

No – a clear scan is enough for translation alone. If the translation is going to be apostilled with the certificate, we tell you which originals are needed.

Will a foreign office accept a translation made in India?

Many do. Some – certain offices in Germany, Spain, France, Brazil or the Gulf – accept only a translator sworn or licensed in their own country. Ask them first; we will tell you honestly which route fits.

How do you handle names, dates and stamps?

Names follow your passport, dates are written so they cannot be misread, and every seal, stamp and signature is noted in brackets.

Can I collect the translation from your office?

Yes, from New Ashok Nagar, Delhi. Otherwise we email the PDF and send the signed copy by Blue Dart or another tracked courier.
