Translated Certificate Apostille and Attestation
Certified translation of Indian certificates into Arabic, French, Spanish, German, Italian and other languages, with notarisation, MEA apostille or embassy attestation of the translation when the foreign authority requires it.

Translated certificate apostille: quick answer
Translated certificate apostille means getting your translated certificate certified by the Ministry of External Affairs with an apostille sticker, so that Hague Convention countries accept it without any embassy stamp. The steps are Notary, SDM New Delhi and the MEA apostille; the MEA’s own fee is ₹50 per document.
Countries such as the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait are not in the Hague Convention, so for them you need Translated certificate attestation: MEA attestation after the notary and SDM steps, followed by embassy legalisation.
We arrange Translation apostille from start to finish by courier, for clients in every State. Share a photo of the translated certificate on WhatsApp with the country name, and we confirm the route and price in writing.
Why a translated certificate needs apostille or attestation
Many authorities abroad accept documents only in their own language. A university in Italy, a court in Spain, a ministry in the UAE or a registry in France may ask for a certified translation of your degree, birth certificate, marriage certificate or company document, and often for that translation to be legalised as well.
Depending on the country, the original document is apostilled or attested first and the translation is attached and certified, or the translation itself is notarised and legalised. We prepare the certified translation and arrange its notarisation, SDM verification and MEA apostille, or MEA attestation and embassy legalisation, so the whole package is accepted.

Tips before sending your translated certificate
- Ask the foreign authority whether the translation must be done in India, in their country or by a sworn translator there; rules differ.
- Give us passport spellings for all names; translations must match identity documents.
- Some countries want the apostille itself translated too; check before you start.

FAQs: Translated certificate apostille and attestation
How do I get my translated certificate apostilled by the Ministry of External Affairs?
First the original translated certificate is attested by a notary in New Delhi. The SDM office in New Delhi then verifies the notary, and the MEA fixes the apostille sticker on the back. You can courier the original to us; we complete all three steps and courier it back.
What are the charges for Translated certificate apostille?
For Translated certificate apostille you pay the MEA fee of ₹50 per document plus our service charge of about ₹1,000–₹1,500 per document; courier is extra. Embassy legalisation for non-Hague countries is priced per embassy, and the quote is always given in writing before you send anything.
Should the original be apostilled before or after translation?
It depends on the country. Often the original is apostilled first and then translated together with the apostille. Some authorities want the translation itself legalised. We follow the receiving authority’s rule.
What documents are required for Translated certificate attestation?
Only a few things: the original translated certificate, a passport copy showing the photo and address pages, and our authorisation letter signed by you. Let us know the country and the purpose so we choose the right route.
What is the process for Translated certificate attestation for the UAE, Qatar or Kuwait?
Notary, SDM, MEA attestation and then the embassy: that is the four-step route for the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait. The UAE also requires its own ministry stamp after you arrive.
Can an Arabic translation be attested for the UAE?
Yes. The certified Arabic translation can be notarised and attested by the MEA and the UAE embassy along with the original document.
How long does Translated certificate apostille take?
An apostille is quicker than embassy attestation, because there is no embassy queue. The exact time depends on the SDM and MEA workload; your written quote gives an expected date, and WhatsApp updates follow each stage.
Apostille or attestation: which one does my translated certificate need?
The country decides. Apostille works for Hague members such as Saudi Arabia, Oman, the UK, France and Australia; attestation with embassy legalisation is needed for the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, China and other non-members.
Do Italian or Spanish authorities accept translations made in India?
Some do, especially when the translation is certified and apostilled; others require a sworn translator in their country. Ask the authority before ordering the translation.
