Burkina Faso Embassy Attestation in India
Burkina Faso embassy attestation for Indian degrees, police clearance certificates, personal records and commercial documents. We look after each submission and return the papers by secure courier.

What is Burkina Faso embassy attestation?
Burkina Faso embassy attestation is how an Indian document is made acceptable to employers, banks and government offices in Burkina Faso. India’s MEA attests it first, and the Embassy of Burkina Faso in New Delhi legalises the MEA stamp. Burkina Faso is not a member of the Apostille Convention, so this two-step route is required.
Burkina Faso has kept a mission in New Delhi since 1996, raised to ambassador level in 2011. The MEA puts the Indian community there at about 1,500, running cement, plastics and leather units, hotels, pharmaceutical imports and trade in cotton, cashew, sesame and gold. Their employees, and Burkinabe graduates of Indian institutions, are typical applicants.
Burkina Faso needs embassy attestation, not an apostille
In October 2026 we checked the HCCH Apostille Convention status table, and Burkina Faso is not listed as a party. An MEA apostille therefore is not the correct format. The document needs MEA attestation and legalisation at the Embassy of Burkina Faso.

No. Burkina Faso is not a member of the Hague Apostille Convention. The document must carry the MEA attestation stamp and then be legalised by the Embassy of Burkina Faso in New Delhi before it is used there.
How long has Burkina Faso had an embassy in India?
According to the MEA, Burkina Faso opened a resident mission in New Delhi in 1996 and raised it to ambassador level in 2011. This embassy legalises MEA-attested Indian documents, and we handle the submission for you.
How much is Burkina Faso embassy attestation?
Our MEA-stage price is Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,500 per personal or educational document, all-inclusive of notary, SDM and the Rs 50 MEA fee. The embassy’s legalisation charge is extra and confirmed in your written quote, as is courier.
What is the processing time?
Plan for about 5 to 8 working days after the documents arrive in Delhi, with courier days added on either side. We give you the expected date in writing and tell you if the embassy’s schedule changes it.
Can company documents for a business in Ouagadougou be legalised?
Yes. Certificates of incorporation, board resolutions, powers of attorney and similar papers are notarised or attested by a Chamber of Commerce, then attested by the MEA and legalised by the Embassy of Burkina Faso. We confirm the route for each document in the quote.
Do I need a French translation?
Most administrative work in Burkina Faso is done in French, so a translation may be requested. INFINITYGRO prepares French translations and quotes them by page; confirm with the receiving office whether it needs one.
Can a police clearance certificate be attested for Burkina Faso?
Yes. A PCC is attested by the MEA and then legalised by the Embassy of Burkina Faso. Because receiving authorities often look at how recent a PCC is, start the attestation soon after the certificate is issued.
Do you collect documents from home?
No. We do not offer home pickup. Please courier your originals to our office in New Ashok Nagar, Delhi, or drop them off in person. Finished documents are returned by Blue Dart or another secure courier.
