Director List Apostille and Attestation
Chamber of Commerce, MEA apostille and embassy attestation for the list of directors of an Indian company, for KYC, company registration, tenders and bank accounts abroad.

Director list apostille: quick answer
Director list apostille is the stamp the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) puts on your Indian list of directors so that it is accepted in Hague Convention countries. Before the MEA stage, commercial documents must be authenticated by a recognised Chamber of Commerce; the MEA then fixes the apostille for a government fee of ₹50 per document.
For the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and other non-Hague countries the apostille is not accepted. There you need Director list attestation: Chamber of Commerce attestation, MEA attestation and then the embassy stamp.
INFINITYGRO handles List of directors apostille for exporters, companies and individuals across India by courier. Send a WhatsApp photo of the list of directors and the destination country, and you get the route and a written quote before anything is sent.
Why a list of directors needs apostille or attestation
Foreign banks, company registrars, free zones and tender authorities need to know who controls an Indian company before they deal with it. The list of directors, with names, DINs, designations and dates of appointment, answers that question and is often requested alongside the MOA, AOA and certificate of incorporation.
The list is prepared on company letterhead and certified by a director or the company secretary, or printed from the MCA records and certified. It is then notarised, attested by a Chamber of Commerce and apostilled by the MEA, or attested by the MEA and the embassy for non-Hague countries.

FAQs: Director list apostille and attestation
How do I get a list of directors apostilled by the Ministry of External Affairs?
Send us the original list of directors. We arrange Chamber of Commerce attestation in New Delhi and then the MEA apostille, and the stamped document comes back by tracked courier.
What are the charges for Director list apostille?
The cost has three parts: the MEA’s ₹50 government fee per document, the Chamber of Commerce fee and our service charge. Courier both ways is separate. You get one written quote covering all of it.
Who should certify the list of directors?
A director or the company secretary certifies it on company letterhead with the company seal. That signature is verified by the notary and the chamber before the MEA stage.
What documents are required for Director list attestation?
The original list of directors, signed and stamped by the company or issuing authority, an authorisation letter on company letterhead (we send the format) and an ID copy of the signatory. Tell us the destination country, because the route depends on it.
What is the process for Director list attestation for the UAE, Qatar or Kuwait?
For these non-Hague countries the list of directors is attested by the Chamber of Commerce, then by the MEA, and finally legalised by the embassy of the destination country. For the UAE, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs adds a final stamp inside the UAE.
Can an MCA master data printout be used as the director list?
It can, if it is certified by the company. Some foreign authorities prefer a letter on letterhead; check their requirement.
How long does Director list apostille take?
It varies with the chamber, the MEA and the embassy if one is involved. We tell you the expected date before you courier the list of directors and message you as each stamp is done.
Apostille or attestation: which one does my list of directors need?
Look at the destination. A Hague Convention member (for example Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Italy or Japan) accepts the apostille. The UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and China need attestation and the embassy stamp.
Is the director list needed for a UAE free zone company?
Often yes, together with the MOA, AOA and board resolution. It goes through chamber and MEA attestation, the UAE embassy and the UAE ministry.
