Quick answer

MCA degree certificate apostille: quick answer

In short, MCA degree certificate apostille is the MEA's apostille on your MCA degree. It is recognised in every Hague Convention country. We complete it in three steps in New Delhi: notary, SDM verification and the MEA apostille, for which the government fee is ₹50 per document.

Countries such as the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait are not in the Hague Convention, so for them you need MCA degree certificate attestation: MEA attestation after the notary and SDM steps, followed by embassy legalisation.

We arrange MCA certificate apostille from start to finish by courier, for clients in every State. Share a photo of the MCA degree on WhatsApp with the country name, and we confirm the route and price in writing.

Part 1 · Why you need it

Why an MCA degree is apostilled or attested

MCA holders work as software engineers, architects and IT managers abroad, and some teach computer science at colleges. For senior visas and professional job titles, employers usually ask for the MCA together with the bachelor's degree that came before it.

Hague countries accept the MEA apostille. The UAE, Qatar and Kuwait need MEA attestation followed by the embassy stamp.

The destination country decides which of these two routes your MCA degree takes.

Apostille for Hague Convention countries

  1. 1
Notary, New DelhiThe original MCA degree is notarised in New Delhi.
  2. 2
SDM verificationSDM New Delhi countersigns after checking the notary.

Attestation for the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and other non-Hague countries

  1. 1
NotarySame notary step as the apostille.
  2. 2
    SDMSame SDM verification.
  3. 3
MEA attestationMEA attestation instead of the apostille sticker.
  4. 4
Embassy legalisationEmbassy stamp for the country where the MCA degree will be used.
UAE note: the UAE adds one more step: once the UAE embassy has legalised the MCA degree, the UAE foreign ministry stamps it in the UAE.

Non-Hague countries

Other official routes: We also offer the online apostille (e-Sanad / QR apostille service): done through INFINITYGRO it is usually ready in 2 to 3 working days. For it we need the document and a copy of your passport, because the passport number is entered online. Our route through a New Delhi notary and the SDM suits most clients because it does not depend on the issuing State's schedule.
Part 3 · Documents

Documents required for MCA degree certificate attestation

  • Original MCA degree certificate
  • MCA marksheets
  • BCA or BSc degree, if asked for the full set
  • Passport photo-page and address-page copy
  • Our authorisation letter with your signature
  • Country of use and purpose, so we pick the right route
How to send: we do not offer pickup. Courier the original MCA degree to our New Delhi office through a reputed, tracked courier, or drop it at the office; we courier it back once every stamp is done.
Part 4 · Charges and time

Part 7 · FAQs

FAQs: MCA degree certificate apostille and attestation

How do I get my MCA degree apostilled by the Ministry of External Affairs?

Send us the original MCA degree. We get it notarised in New Delhi, have the notary verified by the SDM office and submit it to the MEA, which fixes the apostille. The stamped MCA degree comes back to you by tracked courier.

What are the charges for MCA degree certificate apostille?

Two parts make up the cost: the MEA's ₹50 government fee per document and our service charge, which for an apostille on a MCA degree is usually ₹1,000–₹1,500 per document. Courier both ways is separate. If you need embassy attestation instead, we quote that country's charges in writing.

Do I need my BCA attested along with my MCA?

Often yes, especially for Gulf visas and teaching posts, which look at the full academic chain.

What documents are required for MCA degree certificate attestation?

For MCA degree certificate attestation we need the original MCA degree, your passport copy (front and back pages) and a signed authorisation letter. Please also say where and why you will use it.

What is the process for MCA degree certificate attestation for the UAE, Qatar or Kuwait?

The UAE, Qatar and Kuwait do not accept the apostille, so the MCA degree is attested in four stages: a New Delhi notary, the SDM, the MEA and finally the embassy of the country concerned. In the UAE, the foreign ministry adds one more stamp locally.

What does an MCA degree need for Saudi Arabia?

Saudi Arabia is a Hague member, so the MEA apostille is used.

How long does MCA degree certificate apostille take?

An apostille is quicker than embassy attestation, because there is no embassy queue. The exact time depends on the SDM and MEA workload; your written quote gives an expected date, and WhatsApp updates follow each stage.

Apostille or attestation: which one does my MCA degree need?

The country decides. Apostille works for Hague members such as Saudi Arabia, Oman, the UK, France and Australia; attestation with embassy legalisation is needed for the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, China and other non-members.

Can MCA marksheets be done with the degree?

Yes. Each marksheet gets its own stamp, all in one courier.
