Experience Certificate Attestation for Qatar: Procedure from India
A Qatari employer or licensing body that counts your years of work will usually want your Indian experience letters attested. Qatar does not accept the apostille, so each letter takes the attestation route through Delhi and the Qatar Embassy. This guide explains the procedure, the letter checks that prevent a second round, and what is left for Qatar.

Experience certificate attestation for Qatar: quick answer
Experience certificate attestation for Qatar is the legalisation of an experience or relieving letter from an Indian employer so that a Qatari employer, ministry or licensing body accepts it. The letter is notarised and attested by the SDM in Delhi, attested by the Ministry of External Affairs, and legalised by the Embassy of the State of Qatar in New Delhi.
INFINITYGRO handles these Indian stages for Rs 1,000–1,500 per letter, all-inclusive; the Qatar Embassy fee is extra and stated in your written quote. Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs may add a final stamp. That is done in Qatar by your employer or sponsor, or through MOFA’s online service for documents issued abroad.

Qatar embassy attestation feesFAQs: Experience Certificate Attestation for Qatar: Procedure from India
Does Qatar accept an apostilled experience letter?
No. Qatar is not a party to the Hague Apostille Convention, so it does not accept the MEA apostille. Your experience letter needs MEA attestation and legalisation by the Embassy of the State of Qatar in New Delhi, after the notary and SDM stages.
What is the cost of experience certificate attestation for Qatar?
Our MEA stage is Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,500 per letter, covering the notary, SDM, MEA fee and our service. The Qatar Embassy fee is extra and shown in your written quote. Courier both ways is also extra.
I have letters from three employers. Do all need attestation?
Only those your Qatari employer or licensing body names. Some want every letter that adds up to the experience required; others want only the latest. Send us the checklist and we will quote for the letters it lists.
Can you attest a letter from a company that has shut down?
Possibly, if you have a signed and sealed original on letterhead. The notary may be cautious with a letter from a closed company. Send a photo first and we tell you whether it is likely to go through.
Who does the MOFA Qatar stamp?
Your employer, sponsor or their PRO, in Qatar, or through MOFA Qatar’s online service for documents issued abroad. INFINITYGRO’s work ends with the Qatar Embassy stamp in New Delhi and the courier back to you.
Can my degree and experience letters go together?
Yes, and it saves courier trips. Both follow the same route for Qatar. Each document is charged separately for the MEA stage and the embassy fee, and one written quote covers the whole set. Our main Qatar degree guide explains the degree side.
Does the letter need an Arabic translation?
Only if the Qatari office asks for one. Check whether a translation made in India is accepted or whether it must be made in Qatar. If an Indian translation works, INFINITYGRO can translate the letter into Arabic.
Do I need to be in Delhi?
No. Courier the original letter to our New Ashok Nagar office from any city and we return it by Blue Dart or another secure courier. Delhi clients can drop off and collect in person. We do not offer home pickup.
