Experience Certificate Attestation for Kuwait: Route, Checks and Fees
Kuwaiti employers often want proof of the years you have already worked, not just your degree. An experience letter from an Indian company becomes usable in Kuwait only after it carries Indian and Kuwaiti stamps. This guide explains the route, what the letter must show before it starts, and how to keep it consistent with the job you are going to.

Experience certificate attestation for Kuwait: quick answer
Experience certificate attestation for Kuwait is the legalisation of an experience or relieving letter issued by an Indian employer so that a Kuwaiti employer or authority accepts it. As the letter is a private document, a notary and the SDM in Delhi authenticate it first. The MEA then attests it and the Embassy of Kuwait in New Delhi legalises it.
Kuwait does not accept the apostille, so this route is the only one. INFINITYGRO charges Rs 1,000–1,500 per letter for the MEA stage, all-inclusive; the Kuwait Embassy fee is extra and shown in your written quote. If your employer in Kuwait needs a MOFA stamp too, its PRO adds that in Kuwait.
Why a Kuwaiti employer asks for it
Experience letters back up the job title and seniority in an offer. Some roles in Kuwait, particularly technical and professional ones, are approved only with proof of prior experience. Others ask for it to place you on the right grade.
Job title support
The letter shows you have done the work the Kuwaiti post describes.
Professional approval
If your job needs a licence or a professional body’s approval in Kuwait, ask your employer whether experience letters are part of it.
Salary and grade
Some employers set the grade by years of experience and ask for attested proof.

Kuwaiti employers read the degree, the experience letter and the offer together. A letter that says “Site Supervisor” while the offer says “Engineer” may raise questions there, even though the embassy stamp itself has nothing to do with job titles.
- Compare the letter’s title with the visa job title before attestation
- Attest your degree in the same batch if the employer wants both
- If you have letters from several employers, send only those the checklist names

Kuwait embassy attestation feesFAQs: Experience Certificate Attestation for Kuwait: Route, Checks and Fees
Can a private company’s experience letter be attested for Kuwait?
Yes. Private documents go through a notary and the SDM first, and the MEA then attests the SDM’s signature. After that, the Embassy of Kuwait in New Delhi legalises the MEA stamp. We handle all four stages.
Can I use an apostille for Kuwait?
No. Kuwait is not a party to the Hague Apostille Convention, so an apostilled letter is not accepted there. An experience letter for Kuwait needs MEA attestation and then Kuwait Embassy legalisation in New Delhi, after the notary and SDM stages.
What does experience certificate attestation for Kuwait cost?
Our MEA stage is Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,500 per letter, covering notary, SDM, MEA and our service. The Kuwait Embassy fee is extra and appears in your written quote. Courier both ways is extra.
My old company has closed. Can I still attest the letter?
Possibly, if you hold a signed and sealed original on letterhead. The notary may hesitate over a letter from a company that no longer exists. Send a photo first and we will tell you whether it is likely to go through.
Can you attest an experience letter I received as a PDF?
Not as a PDF. The attestation chain works only on a signed paper letter. Ask your employer for a printed letter on letterhead with a wet signature and seal, then send us that original by courier.
Does the letter need an Arabic translation?
Only if the receiving office in Kuwait asks for one. Ask whether a translation made in India is acceptable or whether it must be made there. If an Indian one is fine, INFINITYGRO can translate the letter into Arabic after attestation.
Is a MOFA stamp in Kuwait needed?
Many Kuwaiti offices expect documents to be ratified by Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs after the embassy stage. That is done in Kuwait by your employer or its PRO, not from India. Ask your employer whether they need it.
Can my degree and experience letter go in the same batch?
Yes. Both follow the same route for Kuwait, and sending them together means one courier, one quote and one return parcel. Each document is charged separately for the MEA stage and for the Kuwait Embassy fee.
