Quick answer

ME degree certificate apostille: quick answer

ME degree certificate apostille is the stamp the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) puts on your Indian ME degree so that it is accepted in Hague Convention countries. On our route the ME degree is notarised in New Delhi, verified by the SDM office and then apostilled by the MEA, which charges a government fee of ₹50 per document.

Going to the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait or another country outside the Hague Convention? Then you need ME degree certificate attestation instead: the same notary and SDM steps, MEA attestation, and legalisation by that country's embassy in New Delhi.

Looking for M.e degree certificate apostille without travelling to Delhi? Courier the original to our New Delhi office; we complete every stage and courier it back. A WhatsApp photo gets you a written quote first.

Part 1 · Why you need it

Why an ME degree is apostilled or attested

An ME or M.Tech supports senior engineering titles, research positions and teaching posts at engineering colleges abroad. Employers and universities usually check the ME together with your BE or B.Tech.

Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Germany and Japan accept the MEA apostille. The UAE, Qatar and Kuwait require MEA attestation followed by embassy legalisation.

SR

Senior engineer posts

Gulf and Asian employers.

LECT

Engineering lecturers

RES

Research

Research centres and PhD admissions.

REG

Non-Hague countries

Other official routes: We also offer the online apostille (e-Sanad / QR apostille service): done through INFINITYGRO it is usually ready in 2 to 3 working days. For it we need the document and a copy of your passport, because the passport number is entered online. Our route through a New Delhi notary and the SDM suits most clients because it does not depend on the issuing State's schedule.
Part 3 · Documents

Documents required for ME degree certificate attestation

  • Original ME or M.Tech degree certificate
  • Marksheets or transcript
  • BE or B.Tech degree, if asked for the full set
  • Passport photo-page and address-page copy
  • Our authorisation letter with your signature
  • Country of use and purpose, so we pick the right route
How to send: pickup is not available. Use any reputed courier with tracking to send the ME degree to New Ashok Nagar, Delhi, or visit the office; the return is by courier to the address you give.

Part 5 · Before you send

Tips before sending your ME degree

  • Send the BE/B.Tech and ME together; most files need both.
  • Engineering councils sometimes ask for transcripts with credit hours.
  • M.Tech degrees follow the same route as ME.

Part 7 · FAQs

FAQs: ME degree certificate apostille and attestation

How do I get my ME degree apostilled by the Ministry of External Affairs?

The ME degree goes to a New Delhi notary, then to the SDM office for verification, and then to the MEA for the apostille. INFINITYGRO manages the whole file by courier, so you only post the original and receive it back stamped.

What are the charges for ME degree certificate apostille?

Expect ₹1,000–₹1,500 per document as our service charge for an apostille, in addition to the ₹50 the MEA collects per document. Courier is billed separately. Attestation for the Gulf costs more because each embassy sets its own fee; we confirm it in a written quote.

Is an M.Tech handled the same way as an ME?

Yes. Both are master's degrees in engineering and follow the same Notary, SDM and MEA route.

What documents are required for ME degree certificate attestation?

Send the original ME degree with a copy of your passport's photo and address pages and the signed authorisation letter we provide. The country of use and the purpose decide whether we apostille or attest it.

What is the process for ME degree certificate attestation for the UAE, Qatar or Kuwait?

Notary, SDM, MEA attestation and then the embassy: that is the four-step route for the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait. The UAE also requires its own ministry stamp after you arrive.

Do I need my BE attested with my ME for a teaching post abroad?

Usually yes. Universities look at the bachelor's and master's together.

How long does ME degree certificate apostille take?

The time depends on the queues at the SDM office, the MEA and, for attestation, the embassy. We confirm an expected completion date in your written quote and update you on WhatsApp at every stage. Embassy attestation takes longer than an apostille.

Apostille or attestation: which one does my ME degree need?

The country decides. Apostille works for Hague members such as Saudi Arabia, Oman, the UK, France and Australia; attestation with embassy legalisation is needed for the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, China and other non-members.

What does an ME degree need for the UAE?

MEA attestation, UAE embassy legalisation and then the UAE ministry stamp in the UAE.

Is INFINITYGRO genuine, and do I need to visit Delhi for my ME degree?

INFINITYGRO is a document facilitation agency in New Ashok Nagar, Delhi. We give a written quote, explain each stamp and return originals by tracked courier, with WhatsApp updates at every stage. We do not offer pickup; clients courier the ME degree to our office or drop it in person. Call or WhatsApp +91-8595558517.
