Tips before sending your BA degree
- For China, India does not apply the apostille; the BA degree needs attestation and Chinese embassy legalisation.
- Some countries do not recognise distance-mode degrees for certain visas; check with the employer before spending on legalisation.
- If the degree is in Hindi or a regional language, the receiving authority may also want a translation.

How do I get my BA degree apostilled by the Ministry of External Affairs?

What are the charges for BA degree certificate apostille?

Yes. Degrees from IGNOU, Delhi University SOL and other open universities are apostilled through the same route. Whether the degree is accepted for a particular job or visa is decided by the foreign authority.

South Korea is a Hague member, so the BA degree needs the MEA apostille. Schools may also ask for an apostilled criminal record check, which we handle separately.
How long does BA degree certificate apostille take?
