It depends entirely on who is receiving the document. Universities in Australia, Germany, Canada and the United Kingdom are satisfied with the apostille, so the Delhi route is enough. Gulf employers and health councils frequently insist on State authentication first. Ask them in writing before choosing.
Should I give my original degree to a recruitment agent?
Not without a written receipt naming the certificate. Originals go missing more often than people expect, and replacing a degree takes months. We issue a signed receipt for every document we receive, and we send you a scan of the apostilled degree before it goes back in the post.
Can you get my degree verified by the university for me?
