Experience Certificate Apostille for Saudi Arabia
Saudi employers, and some Saudi professional bodies, look closely at work history. If you have been asked for an attested Indian experience letter, the route is now the MEA apostille, not the Saudi Embassy. We get the letter notarised and authenticated by the SDM in Delhi, then apostilled by the MEA, and return it to you by courier.

Experience certificate apostille for Saudi Arabia: quick answer
Experience certificate apostille for Saudi Arabia is the MEA apostille placed on an experience or relieving letter from an Indian employer, so that a Saudi employer or authority can rely on it. Saudi Arabia joined the Apostille Convention with effect from 7 December 2022. Since then an apostilled Indian document does not need the Saudi Embassy stamp that older guides describe.
The MEA apostilles a private company’s letter only after it has been authenticated, so INFINITYGRO arranges a notary and the SDM in Delhi first. The total is Rs 1,000–1,500 per letter, covering the notary, SDM, the Rs 50 MEA fee and our service. Courier is extra, and the apostille usually takes 2–3 working days once the letter reaches us.
Who checks your work history in Saudi Arabia
Your employer
Saudi employers usually ask for experience letters before confirming the offer and starting the work visa process.
Professional Verification
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources runs a Professional Verification service that checks expatriate workers’ academic qualifications and practical experience.
Engineers
The Saudi Council of Engineers says non-Saudi engineers with under five years of experience are generally not accepted for accreditation, so experience letters carry weight.
Each of these bodies has its own process and may verify your history in its own way. The apostille makes the letter acceptable as an authenticated Indian document; it does not replace their checks.

Saudi Arabia attestation and apostille feesFAQs: Experience Certificate Apostille for Saudi Arabia
Do I still need Saudi Embassy attestation on my experience letter?
No. Since 7 December 2022 Saudi Arabia has been a party to the Apostille Convention, so the MEA apostille is the final Indian step. Older checklists that end at the Saudi Embassy describe the process before that date.
What does experience certificate apostille for Saudi Arabia cost?
Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,500 per letter in total, covering the notary, the SDM, the Rs 50 MEA fee and our service. Courier is extra. There is no embassy fee, because the embassy stage is no longer needed.
Will the apostille satisfy Saudi Professional Verification?
The apostille authenticates the letter as an Indian document. Professional Verification is a separate Saudi check of qualifications and experience, run by the Ministry of Human Resources. Follow the instructions you receive for it; the apostilled letter supports your file.
Should I apostille every experience letter or only the latest?
Follow your employer’s or council’s checklist. Engineers and health professionals are often asked for letters covering several years, while some employers want only the latest. Each letter is charged as a separate document.
My job title differs from my Saudi visa profession. Is that a problem?
It can raise questions in Saudi Arabia. The apostille does not change the content of the letter. Discuss the title with your Saudi employer before you apostille, because a fresh letter cannot reuse the old apostille.
Can a letter from a closed company be apostilled?
Possibly, if it is a signed original on letterhead with a seal. The notary and SDM decide whether to accept it. Send a photo first so we can tell you how likely it is to go through.
How long will it take?
Usually 2 to 3 working days in Delhi after the letter reaches us. Add courier time from your city to Delhi and back. Mention your joining date when you contact us so we can plan the courier.
Do I need an Arabic translation of the letter?
Many Saudi employers accept English letters, but some offices ask for Arabic. Ask the employer or office handling your case. If a translation is needed, INFINITYGRO translates into Arabic, priced by page, and returns it with the apostilled letter.
