Why the Oman Embassy stamp is no longer part of it
Older advice tells couples to take the certificate to the Oman Embassy in New Delhi after the MEA. Between two Convention countries, the apostille replaces that embassy step. Oman’s March 2021 declaration confirmed that it applies the Convention to civil public documents and excludes only commercial and customs papers.
