To get an apostille for Senegal, company documents are attested by a chamber of commerce, pharma licences verified by the issuing authority, powers of attorney notarised and SDM-attested, and civil certificates verified by the home department or SDM. The MEA then adds its apostille, and Senegalese registries, regulators and notaries accept it with a French translation.

Before March 2023, Indian documents for Senegal had to be legalised through the Senegalese mission. Senegal’s accession replaced that with the apostille, and India raised no objection – so the MEA sticker is now the only authentication required.
