Apostille for Pakistan
Families with relatives across the border often need Indian documents accepted in Pakistan – for a marriage, a spouse’s papers, an inheritance or property matter, or a court case. Pakistan joined the Hague Apostille Convention with effect from 9 March 2023, and India raised no objection, so Indian public documents for Pakistan are now authenticated with the MEA apostille. INFINITYGRO prepares the apostille for Pakistan in Delhi, discreetly and carefully.

apostille
For an apostille for Pakistan, an Indian marriage, birth or death certificate is verified by the home department or SDM, a power of attorney or affidavit is notarised and SDM-attested, and the MEA then adds its apostille. Since March 2023, Pakistani courts, NADRA-linked offices and registrars accept the apostilled document; an Urdu translation is added in Pakistan if required.
Pakistan High Commission attestation is not needed – the apostille for Pakistan applies
Before 2023, Indian documents for Pakistan had to be attested by the MEA and then legalised through diplomatic channels. Pakistan’s accession to the Apostille Convention – with no objection from India – means the MEA apostille is now the only authentication step.
Most of our Pakistan files are family matters: marriage certificates for spouses, powers of attorney for property or inheritance, and death certificates for succession cases. We handle them with care and share updates only with you.
